2024 Summer Staff

Gina Anthony, Director of GDDA for 27 years, earned her BS from Towson University, danced professionally with Ballet Theatre of MD and other companies, and trained with Central PA Youth Ballet. She has directed many productions and enjoys helping youth achieve their very best. Andrea Baker earned a BA from Penn State, studied at Shenandoah Conservatory, and earned a MS in Kinesiology. She trained summers at School of American Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet. She danced with Shenandoah Dance Co, TIDE Modern Dance Co, Orphesis Dance Co and others. Casey Bricker is a GDDA Alumni, earned her Bachelors at Westchester Univ in Business & Dance, worked in entertainment at Walt Disney World and as a character at Hershey Park. Alexis Davis is a GDDA Alumni where she has taught for several years. She attends Millersville University to study graphic design and dances with their dance company.

Shelby Forry is a GDDA Alumni, teacher and choreographer for the competition team. She attends Millersville University to study Education and teaches dance for the dance company. Rachel Hue is a GDDA Alumni and also trained summers at CPYB, Alvin Ailey, and Rockette's Intensive. She earned her BFA in Dance Pedagogy at Point Park University. Brianna Miller is a GDDA Alumni where she has danced lead roles and danced in the competition team. She has been a GDDA teacher and team choreographer for several years. Katie Sammy is a GDDA Alumni, also trained with CPYB and was an apprentice with Ballet Magnificat! - a Christian professional ballet company in Mississippi.

Leigh Senft is a GDDA alumni where she danced many lead roles and has instructed for years. She earned a BS from Bucknell University and is a teacher at Red Lion Junior High School. Alli Fleming is a GDDA Alumni where she has danced lead roles, danced with the competition team and been a junior instructor. She plans to pursue dance in college. Danielle Justh is a GDDA Alumni where she has danced lead roles, danced with the competition team and been a junior instructor. She plans to pursue nursing in college.

Special Guest Teachers:

Allyson Kelly (7/24) received her ballet training on scholarship at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Wash,DC and then the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles. She then moved to NYC and toured with Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She was a Radio City Rockette at Radio City Music Hall for 12 years. She was in other productions at Radio City choreographed by Mia Michaels and Warren Carlyle. She has also danced with Pitbull and Christina Aguilera. Allyson teaches master classes, adjudicates and choreographs all over the US and Europe.

Grace Petron (TBD) trained at GDDA and earned her BFA in dance at Mercyhurst University. She is now a Company Dancer with Anastasis Ballet in California and also performed with Lake Erie Ballet and SoMar Dance Works. She is a faculty member at Radiance School of Ballet.

Rachel Yinger (7/22-23) trained with GDDA, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet in NYC and in Russia. She was an apprentice with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and company dancer with Roanoke Ballet.
