2026 Summer Staff

Gina Anthony, Director of GDDA for 29 years, earned her BS from Towson University, danced professionally with Ballet Theatre of MD & other companies, and trained with Central PA Youth Ballet. She has directed many productions and enjoys helping youth achieve their very best.

Ally Anthony is a GDDA Alumni where she has danced lead roles, danced with the competition team, and has been an instructor & choreographer. She was a member of NHSDA and served as VP & Secretary. Ally also trained & performed one year with the Grier School Dance Program. She attends Shenandoah University with a major in Media and Communications and minor in Film Production.

Grace Carpenter is a GDDA Alumni where she danced lead roles & danced with the competition team. She was also a member of NHSDA at GDDA. Grace currently attends Anderson University as a dance major where she performs with their dance company.

Shelby Forry is a GDDA Alumni, teacher and choreographer for the competition team. She graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education where she also taught dance classes & performed with the dance club. She is a first grade teacher at Shepherdstown Elementary. Miss Shelby is also our Summer Morning Kids Camp Director.

Danielle Justh is a GDDA Alumni where she has danced lead roles, danced with the competition team, was an NHSDA member and an instructor. She currently attends Bloomsburg University for Nursing and continues to dance with the university dance club.

Brianna Miller is a GDDA Alumni where she has danced lead roles and danced with the competition team. She has been a GDDA teacher and team choreographer for many years. Miss Brianna is also our Summer Evening Camp Director.

Katie Sammy is a GDDA Alumni where she performed with the company and competition team, also trained with Central PA Youth Ballet and was an apprentice with Ballet Magnificat! company.

Luciana Schmidt is a GDDA 2026 Alumni. She performed lead roles, participated in the 25/26 competition team, taught as a Junior Instructor, and was a member of NHSDA where she served as VP and President. Luci plans to attend college to pursue dance and education.

Leigh Senft is a GDDA alumni where she danced many lead roles and has instructed & choreographed for many years. She earned a BS in Education from Bucknell University with a minor in Dance and is currently a teacher at Red Lion Junior High School. Miss Leigh also serves as Advisor to the GDDA chapter of National Honor Society of Dance Arts.

Rachel Yinger trained with GDDA, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet in NYC & in Russia. She was an apprentice with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and a company dancer with Roanoke Ballet. Rachel has been a GDDA guest teacher for many years and we are thrilled she will join us again this summer!

Ashley Zimmerman was one of Miss Gina's first company dance members. She danced several lead roles at GDDA and trained summers at CPYB & Alleghany Ballet. During college, she danced on York College's Dance Team and taught at GDDA. With a BS in Marketing, Ashley served as Director of Business Development at Curtain Call Costumes for 15 years. She has over 15 years of teaching experience, choreographed for The Belmont Theatre, and was a member of Youth Protection Advocates of Dance.
